[Maybe by like, five minutes.]

[ And she will just grab him in a really tight hug and gently sort of headbutt his shoulder at the same time. ]

If you die again I'm firing you.

[He almost flinched, half expecting to get hit, but when he got a hug instead, well... she got one back. Maybe just as tight since he was kind of glad not to be dead anymore.]

I didn't do it on purpose. They came to my room.

[ She makes a quiet whining sound, before finally releasing him, attempting to lead him by the wrist to a booth.

She lied. There is pie. Lots of it. ]

[Ooooh, hey. Look at that. Pie. There was actually a smile there.]

I thought you said there was no pie.

[Yes, he just called you out, Jade.]

Well, I was fibbing. Sit down and eat the pie.

[ She's huffing at him. x( ]

[He does sit down, because pie, and he pulls some of the cherry in close and takes a good whiff of it. So delicious.]

Yeah, um... you didn't, uh...

You didn't see that, did you?

[He'd felt awful when he'd realized his bracelet was broadcasting, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. He'd just hoped no one he knew (or anyone at all, for that matter) had been looking.]
