[ yeah, it's pretty darn real. she's kind of taking it slow because maybe she has to talk herself through it in order to avoid questioning if it's actually real or not, remind herself and think about the fact that yes, this is okay, no, she's not breaking any rules, yes, she really likes him, no, the world won't end if she lets herself do this, yes, there's a bright blush spreading across her cheeks but no, that's nothing to be embarrassed about. she's not actually feeling embarrassed at all. just the urge to tilt her head a bit so she can slot her lips against his more comfortably, part her lips just enough to put a little more pressure behind it. her fingers slide up to fuss with the collar of his t-shirt, mostly just to avoid touching anywhere else. not that she's feeling particularly handsy, she just. wants to hold onto him. without waking up the sleeping dragon on his shoulder, right.

[The kissing stopped. No... no, why did the kissing stop? But she sat beside him, so hey, it wasn't because she'd finally come to her senses (thank god). No, it was so that she could lean that adorable chin on him and say things that sort of make his stomach melt and flop and twist. He moved so that his arm went around her back, letting her lean on him all she wanted as he smiled and probably looked like the world's biggest idiot doing it.]

[ luckily, Rachel's pretty keen on his smile, so she doesn't think he looks idiotic. she's just leaning and grinning and keeping a close eye on that dragon tail in front of her face. the one curled around Stiles' neck. the neck she would be strongly considering kissing if she could. but they can wait, they can so wait. there's probably a way more appropriate time to kiss someone on the neck than immediately following her first kiss with them. ]

[ Rachel lets her hand rest flat, palm up, just so he can play however he wants, her fingers curling against his as well. it's just really comfortable, and easy, and now she's watching his hands, and she pretty much immediately feels the urge to draw them, much like how she wanted to draw his lips a second ago, and his eyes just before then. she's crushing so stupidly hard on him, she can tell, but she's not letting herself worry about it so much. time was limited here, they've talked about this. worrying about how much she likes someone and not just enjoying the fact that she does at all isn't worth it. ]
