You don't know this guy, dad. I could be perfection wrapped in normalcy and respect and he'd still give me detention. He tried to give me detention for asking about what to do for a date with Rachel. The guy's a loon, dad. Loony, grumpy, old, and anal retentive.

And Hale would have set his emu on fire. Because his bird is stupid.

Well, I'll talk to him about that okay? He can't punish you for what you do outside of school hours and I'll make sure he knows it.

At the same time I want you to avoid antagonizing him as much as possible. I know it's probably not all your fault, but it's not gonna help you. Especially if you want to carry on going to a school that this guy's running.
