[Small little presses of his lips were being run over the marks, paired with licks to soothe the scrapes. He probably shouldn't be getting aroused again from just kissing the slim wrist, but he looked up at her as he licked over a mark.]

[But he pressed a light kiss to her wrist before lowering it, tugging her in a bit closer because there were other things he wanted to kiss. Like her mouth.]

You left me alone for hours and hours with a bucket of paint, what did you expect?

[ she's pulling him in to meet her halfway on that kiss as soon as her wrist is out of the way, favoring his top lip between hers in a somewhat sloppy, lazy kind of kiss. she drags her fingers up into his hair, gripping in it just to hold on. ]

[He's talking through the kiss, mouth moving to cover hers, tongue coming out to lick at the dried paint and tasting the sweetness there.]

Well by kissing me silly now that we're together again, that's the obvious answer here. [ but she sees that hand, being all handy, and her toes are maybe kind of curling up because she's expecting him to just go for it, but. instead. he's just kind of resting his hand there. which is fine? she thinks it's fine. also a little confusing. ]

Should we, ah, is this one of those things we should have a safe word for? I mean like, rollercoaster or apple cinnamon?

Um. [ never in her life did she think she'd need a safe word, like really, ever. but. here they are. ] Yeah, sure. Let's make it just 'cinnamon', though, in case five syllables is too many.
