[She fights the urge to eye roll, hard because, yes, she gets that Peter is a douchebag, but he's also her uncle and some of the only family she has left so having him here, even when she's not really sure if he's okay, has been kind of comforting.

Emphasis on the kind of.

But she doesn't push the issue because she knows how most people feel about Peter.]

He's still here. But when I last saw him, he was ... off. Like he wasn't remembering things properly.

[He'd say Peter should die in a fire, but that's been done. Maybe death by being hacked to pieces should be next.]

Yeah, that was going around. Things happen here. Lots of things.

[Like his girlfriend suddenly becoming a guy. That was a thing. He hated that thing.]

[She's had several "things" happen to her since she got here, and she hasn't liked any of them.

And you thought Beacon Hills was crazy. So far, there's no ninjas here.

Um... yeah. So, hey, you, uh, you staying with Erica and Isaac?

[Smoothest topic change EVER.]

[There's a slow stare because she's just stunned by how smooth that was, but she lets him deflect.

For now.]

Yeah. Erica asked me to stay with her while Isaac was gone.

[After that is sort of up in the air. It depends on how Isaac reacts to her, really.]

Yeah? Little girl party, huh?

[Yep, he was picturing a fantasy girl's sleepover with Erica and Cora. Maybe Rachel could stop by and there could be a redhead, a blonde, and a brunette. Little Witches of Eastwick thing going on. What? He liked all flavors of the female persuasion.]

[impetere]

[Stiles, don't make her punch you again. She gives him a bit of a look like ... whaaaaaaaat are you talking about, before moving on.]

Whatever.

[teenyoda]

Hey, I'm not judging. I just want to know if I should go into Scott's room to peek out the window, that's all.

[And that just gives him a Look.

Okay, well, this has been fun and all, but I have to get to work.

[She pauses, nodding in agreement before starting to step backwards towards the house.]

I'm sure you will, neighbor.

Oh, and if you see a redhead coming into the house, uh... don't like... growl at her or anything. That's Rachel.

[ ... Why would she ... really, Stiles? She gives him a look for a moment before shrugging. She really didn't care.]

Okay.

[teenyoda]

Maybe we'll, um, have everyone over for dinner. Soon. I mean, you and Isaac and Erica and Derek. And Allison and Lydia.

[impetere]

Sure. Sounds like fun.

[Only it's unclear if she actually means that or she's saying it because it's probably the thing to say. It's more likely the latter. But she'll show up anyway.]

[teenyoda]

[Good. Wear bells, Cora.]

Right. See you then.

[He waves and turns to keep walking, Hale settling back around his shoulder.]
